At Coffee First, located at Gl. Kongevej 1, st, 1610 Vesterbro, Denmark, you’ll find an atmosphere that feels as much like home as it does a cozy cafe. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso on your way to work or sitting down to savor a freshly brewed cup with a slice of homemade cake, this spot serves more than just great coffee - it offers a truly welcoming experience.

One of the things that makes Coffee First stand out is the sheer quality of its coffee. The beans are handpicked, carefully roasted, and brewed to perfection, ensuring that each cup is full of rich, smooth flavor. But it’s not just about the taste. The baristas here know their craft inside out. Watching them at work is like seeing a master perform a fine art. Each pour-over, each espresso shot, and each latte art creation is crafted with precision, offering not just a coffee, but a whole sensory experience.

But it’s not just coffee that draws people in. The menu at Coffee First is filled with mouth-watering options that can easily become the highlight of your day. From fresh pastries baked in-house every morning to savory sandwiches and hearty salads, there’s something for everyone. I’ve personally enjoyed the warm avocado toast paired with a flat white, a combination that feels both nourishing and indulgent. And if you have a sweet tooth, the homemade cinnamon rolls are a must-try - soft, gooey, and the perfect balance of sweet and spice.

Another standout feature of Coffee First is the inviting, relaxed ambiance. The space is minimal yet stylish, with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows. It's the kind of place where you can read a book, catch up with a friend, or even work on your laptop in peace. The vibe is calm and unpretentious, which makes it a great spot for both quiet reflection or casual meetings.

Located in the heart of Vesterbro, the café is not only easily accessible but also surrounded by charming streets to explore. It’s the kind of place you can pop into while running errands or make a destination out of your day. Nice cafe with a relaxed atmosphere, I had breakfast here. My large cappuccino and cereal with yoghurt was excellent. Price indeed not cheap (compared to Munich) - but I have to admit I did not stay in Kopenhagen long enough to be able to judge the average range here, so it may be normal. In any case I thought it was well worth it. Staff was friendly and relaxed, it took a little while even though it wasn't busy, but I did not mind because I was not in a hurry. Furniture and interior looked a bit used, but felt alternative and was comfortable enough. In case you have a dog: it seems they are welcome here (there were none while I stayed though).

This cafe in Copenhagen is a cozy retreat, perfect for winter days. It's pet-friendly, and I loved seeing cute poodles around. The cappuccino and pain au chocolat were delicious, but Copenhagen is pricey - about 20% more than what we'd pay in Singapore. Still worth it for the cozy atmosphere and pet-friendly vibe.

Cozy and super cute dog friendly cafe. Really recommended for a chilled breakfast or brunch. Very affordable prices: good prices for a lot of tasty food :) The atmosphere is really relaxing and your dog is going to enjoy it too! The place is decorated with pictures of cute dogs and they even sell some nice merchandise with the logo of the cafe. They serve a free poppuccino for your dogs if you order a coffee

Love this place! We had lunch items, coffee and cookies. Everything was good! Sandwiches tasted very fresh with very good quality ingredients and had an artistic element to them as well. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Very comfortable welcoming vibe. And pup-friendly! Very cool staff as well.

Amazing coffee and even better pancakes with fresh blueberries. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly, as well as English speaking. It's a cozy place that we escaped to during a rainy morning. Definitely my favorite coffee and quick breakfast place in Copenhagen.
